The parishioners of Idlewylde United Methodist Church are involved in many outreach ministries..... as varied as the gifts of the Holy Spirit ! Here is how we are taking our light out into the world .

*Emergency Response Team - As a participating member of the response team, members from many churches in the area unite to help rebuild the lives of those impacted by natural disasters.

*Assistance Center for Towson Churches ( ACTC )- providing food and assistance to the needy

*Lois T. Murray School - Bringing Christmas joy in our “Adopt a Student “ gift program

*The Yellow Rose Campaign - Remembering our service men and women abroad

*Charles Hickey School - The church sponsors an annual Christmas party for the young men

*Board of Child Care - A nonprofit multi-service organization serving close to 1,700 families throughout Maryland, Virginia and D.C.

*The Sky is the Limit - We support this ministry which uses music and dance to enrich the lives of the disabled.

*Kirkwood House - We participate and support weekly services at Kirkwood House a local, affordable home for the elderly.

*Gideon Society - We support the Gideon Society through financial contributions

*Tea Time With The Lord - Donations from our annual tea support a variety of different charitable organizations within the community.
